A graduate of ACATCM in Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Marjorie's passion for her work has led her to pursue and complete many professional development endeavours in the areas of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and Qi Gong, most significantly, completion of the 2 year post-graduate Clinical Integration program, offered by the respected American acupuncturist/Chinese Medicine practitioner, scholar and teacher Lonny Jarrett L.Ac MSc (Stockbridge Mass.). An integral part of the course was the study and clinical application of Shen/Hammer Pulse Diagnostics, Five Elements Diagnostics and Acupuncture and the 8 Principles of TCM.
Other influences include:
Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine - the teachings of Jeffrey Yuen, the writings of Dr. Weih Chieh Yeung, Miriam Lee and other Master Tung scholars, Japanese palpation-based acupuncture as taught by Kiiko Matsumoto and David Euler and in the last few years, studying and incorporating SaAM acupuncture into her practice.
Qi Gong - Dr. Steven Aung, Master Li Jun Feng, Master Lam Kam Chuen, Master Wenwei Ou.
Dr. Marjorie's previous almost 2 decade long career as a Medical Technologist has provided a supportive knowledge base when bridging the gap between western and eastern medicine.
